September's New Books

September Cover

The Demon Headmaster is back in a new story called The Demon Headmaster: Total Control (617466). In this story everyone at Lizzie’s school has suddenly developed amazing skills. Her classmate Ethan, who previously had no interest in sport, is now incredible at football; her brother's suddenly an expert in robotics; and Lizzie has become really good at being bad. It's as though they have no power over their own actions. Could this be something to do with the mysterious new headmaster? This is the eighth book by Gillian Cross in The Demon Headmaster series.

In the library this month we also have a set of stories for younger listeners that have been produced by an organisation called “Seeing the Sound”. The Tree in the Cloud (617486) is a story about the big and small creatures that live in your back garden.
